Turning on Social: Google+, Facebook Timeline & Unthink
With the launch of Google+ pages for business last week, we’re starting to get a little lost in the tornado of social platforms that are a ‘must-have’ for business, I remember the days when brands were still deciding whether they really needed a website, and today the question is more about a Facebook page, a YouTube channel, a Twitter account and now Google+. The early adopters are already on the bandwagon as we can see with the first Google+ brand pages for Pepsi, Toyota, Angry Birds and of course the subject matter experts like Mashable and agencies such as Big Spaceship.

Can you design & build a car?
One of my major gripes in this ‘digital’ business is the feeling of those on the outside that it’s easy to do – I sometimes ask the question about building a car… after all, many of us know how to drive and operate both a manual and automatic – but when it comes down to the workings of the internal combustion engine we are (in the majority) completely lost.

My Job is about Change – Agitating & Activating
Depending on who I’m talking to, I find it very hard to describe what I do – a lot of the time I talk about ‘digital strategy‘ but I know that if I find it difficult to explain, that probably means that others find it even harder to understand – it’s a logical conclusion.
